Appraisal Services
Bellisario Rare Coin Gallery will provide fair market valuation and replacement cost appraisals for:
- Distribution to heirs
- Divorce
- Estate planning
- Insurance coverage
- Trusts / Estates liquidation
APPRAISAL FEES:
Our appraisal fee is based upon an hourly or daily rate and any travel and out-of-pocket expenses. For specific terms contact us. All estimated fees will be agreed upon before any appraisal work. Invoiced fees will be paid prior to the delivery of the appraisal report.
REBATE OF APPRAISAL FEES:
If the named client desires to sell the appraised property in the future, directly or on consignment the appraisal fee will be rebated in full or pro-rated dependent on the value sold.
APPRAISAL AGREEMENT:
Written appraisal requires an appraisal agreement to be signed by the client or the authorized agent of the estate or heirs to begin work.
SMALL COLLECTION APPRAISALS:
Verbal ball-park (estimated) appraisals for small collections (normally under $20,000.00 in value) are conducted for a fee of $100.00 an hour. An exact fee will be agreed upon prior to the estimate based upon a cursory view of the collection.
NO FEE APPRAISAL:
For any collection in which the client desires immediate liquidation we will examine the collection, answer questions and make a fair market offer based upon current market values and present spot medal price were applicable. This appraisal is a spot (same day) appraisal and may be higher or lower in the future.
WE PROVIDE FREE INITIAL ASSESSMENT OF COLLECTIONS TO DETERMINE THE DEGREE OF APPRAISAL SERVICE REQUIRED
BRCG agrees if the client hires BRCG to liquidate the collection through cash payment or as their agent within one year of the appraisal then all or a prorated part of the appraisal fee will be refunded to the client.
